About Us

Moonstone Trading Co. is a female owned small business founded in 2020 and based on the South Shore of Massachusetts. The idea for Moonstone Trading Co. was planted on a spiritual retreat to Koh Phangan Thailand earlier the same year. I was doing a bit of soul searching and wanted a way to merge my business skills with something fun and creative. I have a deep love for energy healing, yoga, crystals and reiki. Candles are often part of those practices so it got my thinking, I LOVE candles. I owned a small storefront worth even prior to even creating my own! Just ask my friends, my obsession with candles is a little out of control at times. I decided I was going to create a product that captured that healing and excited energy I found while traveling, that made learning about spiritual practices and crystals fun and accessible to everyone, and that's how my baby was born. I created my first line of 4 intention candles early that year. I spent months selecting and curating the perfect scent for each, choosing the aligning crystals, and selecting a corresponding herb or flower. Each candle is truly a labor of love and I hope through exploring the meditation that's designed to accompany the product you are able to manifest your greatest intentions! Our company is more than just candles. I want to connect people and provide you with knowledge from both myself and others in the community we are building. 

All my candles are designed for both function and aesthetics. How something looks in our space is just as important to me as how it performs. After my initial launch of the crystal intention candles I decided to add in a full signature line as well as seasonal launches. Moonstone Trading Co. candles are designed to be eco friendly and clean burning. I want to minimize my environmental footprint and bring you a product you can feel good about burning in your home. All of our wax is 100% biodegradable soy. Our fragrances are free of phthalates, hormone disruptors, carcinogens, and parabens. Once your candle is done burning the jar can be recycled or upcycled into a planter, catch all, pen or makeup brush holder, or a number of other things. My scents are inspired by my travels, my community, and my experiences. I absolutely love creating them and sharing them with you!
